2008 Chardonnay, La Cruz Vineyard, Sonoma Coast
Twinkling gold in the glass. Rich aromas of spiced oak, apple, lees, cinnamon spice and buttered toast. Thick round mouthfeel with a racy finish. This dry Chard was barrel fermented by its own native yeast. Though the label says 147 cases, we really made only 72. Retail $38, Wine Club $30.40, Reorder by December 5th $28.50.

Deep ruby color conjures thoughts of velvet, the mouthfeel delivers. Smooth entry, good mid-pallet texture and warm long finish. Aromas of wood spice, cherry, earth, cola and bright wild berry. 2007 Perpetual Moshin, Dry Creek Valley
This big Bordeaux Blend reminds us so much of the 2005 vintage. Co-fermented Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot and Petite Verdot bring you savory fruit chutney, Turkish coffee and exotic spices. Fragrant oak, vanilla and earth tones open up into juicy, ripe red fruit. Clean bright finish, you’ll want more! Only 72 cases (really) produced. 2007 Pinot Noir, Moshin Estate, Russian River Valley
Beautiful deep garnet. Lots of layered red fruit, spiced brown sugar. Brooding fruit, weighty flavors like a fleshy plum. Juicy, meaty, bright floral notes- is this really Pinot?! Every sip shows a different side of the beautiful face that is Pinot Noir. The lingering finish teases the pallet with bright acidity and surprising spice. 142 cases produced. 2007 Pinot Noir, Molinari Vyd., Russian River Valley, Sonoma County
This wine comes from five acres of Pinot Noir that are farmed by Rick Moshin. French Dijon clones (667 and 115) were selected and are sustainably farmed - giving these grapes the extra attention that only a winemaker can. Bright aromas of cherry, red candied apple and spices, - followed by flavors of red fruits, pomegranate and cranberry. Firm tannins and good acidity make this wine a fine choice for the cellar as well. $26

Extracted cherry and smoke on the nose, a “sweet” aroma comes across- somewhere between Fuji apples and maple syrup. The flavors are all pinot; red fruit, earth and spice. 600 cases produced. $40

Raspberry brambles, black currant, layers and layers of berry and spice with just enough dustiness to remember the hot summer. Black currant, jammy red fruit, allspice and licorice on the nose. Sassparilla

Jammy fruit, blackberry spice, caramelized fruit pie filling. Notes of leather, licorice and a bit of woodiness. Great tannin structure, plush mouthfeel, long pleasing finish. Take some extra time with this one in your glass to get to all the fruit character. Drinking well now though 2012. 475 cases produced. $30
