2008 Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast
Sourced from the chilly, breezy Petaluma Gap this chardonnay is barrel fermented in 23% new French oak then aged to perfection. The nose is bright with cinnamon spice and sesame seeds. The flavors are round and filled with apple pie, complete with a toasted buttery crust. Drinking well now and through 2012. Only 247 cases produced.

2008 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast
Also hailing from the Petaluma Gap, this Pinot Noir displays a smoky, earthy nose followed by a big mouthfeel of dark cherries and deep toasted brown spice with a warm smooth finish. Great to enjoy now or cellar through 2015. 1343 cases produced.

2007 Zinfandel, Bowman Vineyard, Shenandoah Valley
This bright red, peppery Zin comes from further afield in California. Look for the grape/plum jam, sassafras, leather and wood spice- with an inkling of mole’. The tannins are fine and lively with a persistent finish. Drinking powerfully now and through 2015. Only 250 cases produced.

A new vineyard to us, located just up the road 6 miles, brings us a light red, delicate Pinot character. Great acidity harkens to Burgundy while the heady fruit and earthy strawberry is all Russian River. Smells deep, feels light, big finish. Only 193 cases produced.
